On February 6, the Santa Clara, California, city council voted to put a ballot measure on the June 5 ballot. It would ask voters if they wish to use ranked choice voting for city elections, effective in 2020. See this story.

MAJOR infection spreads — like 2017-2018 flu.
CoFOE’s proposal is to divide Santa Clara into two halves, each to use RCV.
Are you interested in pure proportional representation which makes elections more fair for all interest groups by lowing the threshold to lowest possible percent of total votes cast?
The United Coalition has been using pure proportional representation correctly for more than twenty-three consecutive years and pure proportional representation works fine.

CoFOE is not interested in pure proportional representation, they want to sell their program that cannot calculate more than three winners, so they are OK with dividing the city so their program will sell.
I will be campaigning against this proposal because of the division of the city.
