  1. ANY body in CA, besides BAN, heard about PR and AppV

    — to get REAL election reform in CA and ALL other States ???

  2. California has an active organization called Californians for Electoral Reform, which works very hard to expand use of ranked choice voting, and also does what it can to work for proportional representation.

  3. I think this would be a good idea, as long as there is a rule that no more than two candidates can be from the same party. So you could have 2 D’s vs 2 R’s, or a D vs R vs L vs G, or 2 D’s vs R vs L. Just don’t have 3 R’s against a D (or vis versa).

  4. They should use single transferable to fill the top 4, then instant run off in the general.

  5. Some mini history about the gerrymander formation of ye olde English House of Commons —

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/House_of_Commons_of_England

OLD time gerrymanders (with *rotten boroughs* having low, low, low populations controlled by monarchs / oligarchs) 9up to 1832 in the UK) to New Age computerized gerrymanders with political concentration camp districts controlled by HACK monarchs / oligarchs — what changes !!!

    END the EVIL —

    PR and AppV
