California Redesigns Voter Registration Form

Here is the new California voter registration form. Section 8, relating to the applicant’s choice of party, is interesting.

California should switch to Top 2 for presidential elections, which would let it eliminate the bogeyman of not being able to vote in primaries. It should also move party committee elections to all mail ballots.

Better yet would be to eliminate partisan registration entirely.
