According to this news story, it is very likely that the New Mexico Libertarian Party nominee for U.S. Senate, Aubrey Dunn, will withdraw. The story also says that Gary Johnson may replace him. Parties in New Mexico have the ability to replace nominees who withdraw.
It would be an interesting test of Johnson’s remaining political capital.
Another event subject to more retroactive machinations by the gerrymander oligarchs ???
It is bizarre that a New Mexico-source article would cite Johnson’s national support rather than his New Mexico support where he received 9% of the vote.
Gary Johnson’s presidential campaigns have done a lot for ballot access and recognition of 3rd parties. Go Gary!
What is Senate?
He also said he would not run if he didn’t believe he had a chance to win. Newsflash!!!! Gary… you haven’t got a prayer! The incumbent progressive Democrat is a lock for re-election. Even the GOP nominee is a sacrificial lamb. Not saying I like it but just sayin’.
