On January 15, the Virginia House Privileges and Elections Committee defeated SB 1002 by a vote of 11-3. It would have let each U.S. House district elect its own presidential elector, as is done in Maine and Nebraska. The author was Senator Amanda Chase (R-Midlothian).
A similar bill is pending in the House, although it would amend the state constitution. It is HJR 627, by Delegate Mark Cole (R-Fredericksburg).
1/2 or less votes x 1/2 rigged gerrymander districts = 1/4 or less CONTROL = OLIGARCHY.
One more reason to abolish the super-timebomb electoral college.
Uniform definition of elector-voter in ALL of the USA – including colonies.

This is a step in the right direction, but what is really needed are completely distinct presidential elector districts, including those for the two currently “at large” electors assigned for US Senators. THEN, put the electors’ names on the ballots, REMOVE the presidential nominees from the ballot, and have the PEs out there doing their own campaigning. The result of this would be that it would force an informed electorate – a massive improvement all around!
538 RIGGED packed/cracked minority rule gerrymander districts ???
Just swell — IF one wants Civil WAR II
— death, destruction, tyranny, purges, reborn slavery, foreign interventions, etc.
How many FATAL timebombs in the USA Const — waiting to go off ???
1860 — FATAL for about 0.75-1 MILLION in 1861-1865
— plus multi-thousands maimed for life – NO eyes, hands, etc.
— plus all the millions of damaged relatives of the dead and injured for 60 plus years — esp. widows and orphans.
How many minority rule Prezs since 1832 ???

The Congressional District Method is a terrible idea, as it opens up the Presidential Election to gerrymandering.
