American Delta Party Registration in Delaware Slips Below Required Number for Qualified Status

Delaware recognizes parties if they have registration of at least one-tenth of 1% of the state total. At the February 2019 tally, the American Delta Party, which had been qualified, slipped below the minimum needed. It has 664 registrants but the minimum requirement is 715. Of course there is still time for the party to regain its status for 2020.

Rocky De La Fuente founded the American Delta Party. It qualified in Delaware in September 2016, but it obtained its registrants too late for the party to nominate anyone that year, so it hasn’t yet placed any nominees on the Delaware ballot. It had enough registrants in 2018 but it didn’t nominate anyone.

  1. Odd that they use the letter “Q” for the Constitution Party, but the letter “C” is not used by anyone. Perhaps as to not confuse the numbers with the Conservative Party designated by the letter “T.” Sheesh, as if three letters as used in most states weren’t bad enough, the lazy folks at Delaware SOS only use ONE (1) letter!

  2. and perhaps all those folks registered as “No Party” do not know the meaning of the word “Partisan?”

  3. So can one get ballot access in Delaware simply by filing as a non-partisan, since as a party it has more than 715 registrant?

  4. I don’t think anyone in Delaware has ever tried to ask the Election Commission to recognize the “non-partisan” party. There is really no need, because the state does recognize the Independent Party and it has placed nominees on the ballot in the past, although in 2018 it didn’t nominate anyone. Parties that size nominate by convention so the party officers need to call a nominating convention and certify the names of any party nominees.

  5. NO party registration lists = PURGE lists.

See Hitler regime 1933-1934 >>> ONE party regime — only Hitler nazis allowed.
