Now up to 3700 with a new turnin from NW Arkansas.
How many signatures does it need?
If we win the lawsuit 10,000 valid (estimated 15,000 raw). The legislature passed a law saying about 27,000 valid which has been thrown out by the courts twice before yet they still passed it yet again. It has to be completed within 90 days, and the new law also specifies a September 2019 deadline to qualify for the 2020 ballot, which is also earlier than other deadlines that have been thrown out by the courts in the past.
Curious about something — The legislator who proposed this monstrosity (can’t remember his name), he indicated a stated reason for this was to avoid a crowded ballot. I’m just wondering if he had any opposition in his last election campaign.
When forced to choose between candidates of the two old parties, I tend to choose R’s more than D’s. But if he were running against just a D, I’d vote for the D solely because of this.
