According to this story, U.S. Senator Kamala Harris had been set for an interview with leaders of the Working Families Party, but at the last minute she decided not to attend. The story says that other Democrats running for President had already had similar interviews with the WFP, including Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Cory Booker, Julian Castro, and Bill de Blasio.
The Working Families Party will eventually endorse someone for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination.
Could she be on the verge of dropping out? These celebrity fundraisers could end up going towards her future campaigns.

Demo Rep might be correct, if I’m interpreting him correctly. This might be less of a sign that Kamala Harris is dropping out and more of a realization that meeting with the WFP is a waste of time because they’re looking for a far left candidate. They endorsed Bernie Sanders in 2015.
It may be both. Her poll numbers have dropped like a rock. She will probably stay in through the September debate and hope it boosts her back up. She’s a top notch debater and this will be the first time the debates are one night with all the top contenders for the nomination on the same stage. With 10 of them there it won’t be easy to shine but she is good in those situations. The criteria actually make it easier to qualify for the October debate so it’s likely there will be two nights back to back next month again. So chances are, if she does not get back in the top tier in September she will drop out before the October debates and not subject herself to a half-debate again. Or she may see who the luck of the draw pits her against in that one, analyze her fundraising, try to work a deal for VP slot or top hypothetical administration position appointment/nomination, and make her decision then.
