Two Connecticut Libertarian nominees for city office in Meridan were restored to the ballot on October 10, for the election of November 5, 2019. See this story. They had originally been removed for slightly irregular paperwork. They sued and then the Secretary of State reversed position and put them on the ballot.
Glad to hear these candidates were restored. They had been removed for such a stupid reason.
I have little personal love for the Libertarian Party, but the candidates were qualified and entitled to appear on the ballot. Glad that they were listed on the ballot.
Eliminate partisan nomination and you eliminate the need for placeholders.
Abolish all ballot access laws because they are voter censorship.
Congratulations on pursuing the matter and achieving success.
