On February 21, the California Secretary of State posted the list of declared write-in candidates for the March 2020 primary. Under California’s top-two system for congress and partisan state office, if only two candidates are running, obviously both of them will appear on the November ballot.
There are three legislative races with only two candidates running for a legislative seat, although there are no such races for U.S. House. In the State Senate district 9 race, one Democrat is on the March primary ballot and one Libertarian, Jamie Dluzak, filed for write-in status.
In the Assembly district 7 race, one Democrat is on the primary ballot and one Libertarian, James O. Just, filed for write-in status.
In the Assembly district 17 race, one Democrat is on the primary ballot and one Libertarian, Starchild, filed for write-in status.
There are other races in which only a Democrat is on the March ballot and a minor party member filed for write-in status, but in all those districts, a Republican also filed for write-in status. Generally when that happens, the major party member who filed for write-in status gets more write-ins than the minor party member.

Then Brin set up Google Groups and deleted almost all my data for the first pure proportional representation Electoral College.

I can only conclude that the CA SoS was fearful that anyone learn that Google derived their name and launched off our back in 1997.

The whole election is being relived in Monterey California on April 1st 2020 when the paper ballots for the “10th USA Parliament Election of 2020”, AKA known as the “United Coalition USA”, the blank paper ballots of the 25th anniversary will be conducted, marked and counted.
The old archives and internet records with ICANN appear to be touched. Before ICANN, internet domain names were registered with Networksolutions.com and now the ICANN records show incorrect information which favor story where Google Groups doesn’t want anyone to know because the pure proportional representation Electoral College might be a real threat to the two-party system when the math is correct.
Currently the math for ranked choice voting (RCV) in single-winner districts that the California State SoS brings is a one-party system because RCV mitigates against random wins by 2nd biggest vote-getter which are brought by the “split-vote problem” when too many candidates from the biggest party vie for the single seat.
How much does it cost to get on the primary ballot?
Thus – at least 2 candidates in ALL CA gerrymander districts in Nov 2020 ???
The minority rule in CA is near 25 pct due to the D/R – OTHER districts and the several LOW voter districts — due to ILLEGAL INVADERS being counted in the 2010 USA Census – esp in Los Angeles area —

The filing fee this year for California legislature is about $1,000. So the three Libertarians each saved themselves that amount of money, because there is no fee for declared write-in candidates. The California legislature in 1968 provided that declared write-ins had to be the fee, but the State Supreme Court struck it down in 1972.
