No. 9 in the article has a wrong date. June 9th is the start date for petitioning.
I would like to know if designated petitions are invalid if signed with blue ink as well as on blue sheets as opposed to green?

I have been told many times to use black ink on my Independence Party petitions. The petition is on white paper with black ink.
There are many errors. It says you must be a city resident to carry a petition when you can be from anywhere in the state. It also says you can only use petition forms from the Board of Elections and they must be identical, which is not true. They can differ in certain details.
Ink and paper color doesn’t matter – it used to but not since the early 90’s – assuming it’s legible of course.
