Georgia U.S. House Special Election — 5 Comments

  1. Mighty 32 pct winner – more minority rule.
    —–

    Candidate/incumbent replacement lists.

  2. This is for the remainder of John Lewis’s term. The winner of the December 1 runoff will seve a little over a month. (In Texas, the runnerup in a special election may concede, I don’t know if that is possible in Georgia).

Lewis died shortly after being renominated in the primary. The Democratic Party replaced him on the ballot for the full term on the November general election ballot.

  3. Correction — Another top 2 machination.

    same remedy –

    Candidate/incumbent replacement lists.

    NOOOO more special vacancy elections.
