On November 3, Colorado voters saw a statewide referendum on their ballots, asking if they want to keep the National Popular Vote Compact law in place. The legislature had passed it in 2019, and then the Republican Party had successfully placed a referendum on the ballot, to give the voters a chance to cancel the law. But the voters voted 52% – 48% to keep the National Popular Vote law.
This is the first time any state has held a popular vote on the National Popular Vote idea.
National Popular Vote for President = Bad Idea.
All popular votes should be thrown out, and they will be. The ultimate solution, which is about to be implemented, is TRUMP as EMPEROR.

The US really needs a two round system for President (effectively three round because there would still be primaries/conventions). First round undergoes the same process as now for ballot access for candidates/parties, but is a national popular vote that either uses Single Transferable or Single Non-Transferable to determine the top four candidates. For this round the debate organizations can play their little inclusion/exclusion games.
After the determination of the top four, a second round is done with all four candidates automatically on every state ballot, which uses STAR voting (Score Then Approval Run-Off) in which the states would then award electoral votes using winner by district, and largest remainder for the state-wide electoral votes. Here the FEC will sanction debates with all four candidates, no private organizations.
It’s time for Trump to cross the Rubicon, retake Rome, and be declared supreme leader.

It appears that Colorado has given up its status as a swing state. Ranked choice voting would have been a better choice for them, especially with all those candidates listed on their ballots.
