On December 1, 2021, Jill Stein, Green Party presidential nominee in 2016, filed a Statement of Issues in the U.S. Court of Appeals, D.C. Circuit. She is asking the Court to amend or reverse the Federal Election Commission decision earlier this year that she must repay $175,272 in 2016 primary season matching funds. See it here.
The FEC is bi-partisan, not non-partisan, just like the so-called Commission on Presidential Debates. One area of agreement that the two ruling party Establishments don’t even bother hiding that they agree is their mutual disdain and hostility towards minor parties and Independents. It’s no wonder that Oliver Hall and the Center for Competitive Democracy took up Jill’s case. I just hope an unbiased, impartial judge hears their case and not a judge who is biased in support of the two-party system.
