On January 7, Nicholas Kristof asked the Oregon Supreme Court to reverse an opinion of the Secretary of State, and declare that he meets the Oregon Constitution’s residency requirement for candidates for Governor. I thought the words “designated bedroom” was curious until I realized this was at his parents house in Oregon. I had a designated bedroom when I visited my parent’s home, but I didn’t live there.
Kristoff should run for some local office that has a shorter residency period.
