Political parties could limit who could vote for their candidates. The party could provide a list of voters who may or may not vote for their candidates. The election clerk would mark the ballot with May Vote For R/D or May Not Vote For R/D. If a voter votes contradictory to these restrictions, the vote for that office would be disregarded. A party might choose to let any voter vote for its candidates.
