No Minor Party Candidates Advance to the General Election in Washington State Primary

Washington held its top-two primary on August 2. No minor party candidates placed first or second, so there will be no minor party candidates for any federal or state office in November.

The minor party candidates who were on the ballot in the 2022 primary were:

1. U.S. Senate, Socialist Workers, Henry Clay Dennison, placed eleventh out of eighteen candidates, although that might change slightly when all the ballots are counted. He polled .62%.

2. US House, 3rd district, American Solidarity, Oliver Black, placed ninth out of nine candidates with .17%.

3. US House, 8th district, Libertarian, Justin Greywolf, placed ninth out of eleven candidates with .68%.

4. State Rep, 8-2, Alliance, Larry Stanley, placed fourth out of four with 1.84%.

5. State Rep, 16-1, Peace & Freedom, Sharon Kay Schiller, placed third out of three with 3.34%.

6. State Rep, 27-1, Forward, Todd Briske, placed third out of three with 4.54%.

7. State Rep, 38-2, Libertarian, David Wiley, placed third out of four with 2.9%.

There were also three legislative candidates who ran under the label “Election Integrity Party”, but there is no such party. All three are Republicans. The three are Lori Theis in district 32-1, Mike Nykreim in district 41-1, and Amber Krabach in district 45-2. Nykreim and Krabach had been Republican candidates for the same seats in 2020. In 2022, Theis was the only opponent to a Democrat, so she advanced to the November ballot. Also in 2022, Nykreim was the only opponent to a Democrat, so he also advanced. Krabach was in a three-person race with a Democrat and another Republican, and she placed third.

  1. I can’t understand why American voters act like its a sin to vote for a third party. I vote for a third party whenever I can and don’t care what they represent. This two sided monopoly of political parties is terrible.

  2. It looks like though that there are at least 2 independents who will advance to the general election in their races: Chris Vance in State Senate District 31 and Julie Anderson in the Secretary of State election.

  3. THE GOP NEEDS TO FINISH GETTING RID OF THE RHINO’S. GOOD PROGRESS HAS BEEN MADE BUT MORE REMAINS TO BE DONE. KEEP THIRD PARTIES UNTIL THAT PROCESS IS OVER JUST IN CASE. THEN GO ALL IN GOP AND TAKE NO PRISONERS.

  4. It looks like independent Julie Anderson will be on the general election ballot for Secretary of State. The 3rd & 4th place candidates were both Republicans.

  5. The way I see it:

We the people elected Trump (twice) to drain the swamp and save America and make it great again. The first time the deep state and fake news evildoers and traitor scum nullified the will of the people with the Russia hoax and impeachment hoax part 1 and 2 and the ridiculous phony china virus plandemic. The second time they just plain rigged and stole the election and put in a dementia ridden puppet for the Chinese and Ukrainian oligarchs.

So in 2024 when we the people elect Trump again he should be given a twelve (12) year term and it should count as his first term as far as his eligibility. And he should be made the President and CEO of the USA with the power to fire any congressman, judge, governor, mayor etc. As well as any CEO of any American company!

Then at the end of 12 years we the people get to vote on whether to extend his leadership yet again. By then maybe it will be time to put one of his son’s in charge of the country. Or maybe not quite yet, and we keep Daddy in charge a little bit longer. Either way God bless America and God bless Trump. TRUMP 2024!!!

  6. Your a lying pos commie who should die a very painful and humiliating death for our entertainment as punishment for spreading such disgusting lies.
