According to this story, the Working Families Party might nominate Yuh-line Niou for U.S. House, 10th district, New York. The district includes southern Manhattan and part of Brooklyn. She narrowly lost the Democratic primary earlier this month. She is a sitting state Assemblywoman.

  1. I think they should do it. WFP does win from time to time in New York.

  2. I’d be very surprised if WFP had the electoral independence to run their own candidate for Congress and go against their liege lord the Democratic Party. But stranger things have happened, and even if it’s the WFP, it’d be quite the positive development if a minor party got one of their own elected to Congress for the first time in decades.

  3. Finally. After years and years the WFP grows a pair of balls. They couldn’t with Andrew Cuomo in 2018.
