North Carolina State Board of Elections Website Shows Progress of Particular Petitions

The North Carolina State Board of Elections is the only state elections office that provides the progress of checking petitions on its website.

Here is the link that shows the progress of current petitions. The only three party petitions circulating are the No Labels Party, the Constitution Party, and the Forward Party. No Labels already has enough valid signatures, but apparently No Labels will continue to collect more signatures just for safety.

The website shows past petitions as well. The parties currently on the ballot are Republican, Democratic, Libertarian, and Green.

  1. I heard that the No Labels Party finished its North Carolina petition awhile ago.

  2. No Labels was clearly paying attention to last year’s shenanigans involving the “Democratic” Party’s attempt to keep Matthew Hoh and the N Carolina Greens off the ballot. Until the day we have a free and fair election system in this country, every petitioning minor party and Independent needs a significant margin of safety in their petitions. And if financially possible, some good lawyers in case even that doesn’t work.

  10. Thanks, Pat! I do agree, as you pointed out elsewhere, that it’s time to stop being polite and start being real about the real world – AZ. Clearly, anyone who claims to seriously believe all the nonsense AZ spews, not least that Trump = Hitler, is not mentally in the real world at all.

  11. The Veterans Party is also petitioning, but they don’t have very many signatures. I singed their petition. The Constitution Party will soon be back on the ballot. We have several thousand more to turn in soon.

    Detroit — A Holt man exonerated after serving almost 32 years in prison has filed a $100 million federal lawsuit against Oakland County, the city of Pontiac and others, claiming he was wrongly convicted because of false testimony, fabricated evidence and junk science.

    Gilbert Poole, 58, filed the lawsuit Tuesday, almost two years after he was exonerated in the June 1988 murder of 35-year-old Robert Mejia in Pontiac. The conviction was vacated on May 26, 2021, by then-Oakland County Circuit Judge Rae Lee Chabot after DNA testing showed Poole was not the killer, according to the lawsuit.

    In late May of 2021, Gilbert Poole celebrates with attorney Marla Mitchell-Cichon after being exonerated for murder. He spent 32 years in prison. He’s now filed a federal lawsuit against Oakland County, the city of Pontiac and others.

    Officials from the city and Oakland County were deliberately indifferent to Poole’s constitutional rights, fabricated and withhheld evidence, waged a malicious prosecution and committed willful misconduct, Poole’s lawyer Kevin Riddle argued, according to the 90-page lawsuit.

  16. A “Trump = Hitler” Z is lying. Does he ever not lie? His questions have been answered repeatedly.

    As A “Trump=Hitler” Z knows very well, I oppose all utopias. Contrary to the stone age nonsense, modern technology is an important part of my proposal. A”Trump=Hitler” Z bot programmers must not have equipped it with much random access memory.

    I’ve laid out my proposed voter criteria several times, including recently. I don’t have to jump and find the exact link each time A “Trump=Hitler” Z asks. He can do it himself. It’s a fairly long list, and I’m not going to type it out yet again.

    I’ve told A “Trump=Hitler” Z numerous times, approximately 100,000 people, approximately 100 voters. It did ask a decent question at one point regarding population growth. I don’t know, but I think it would probably self-regulate. There would not be much moving around, and other social factors would mitigate against population explosion or collapse. Admittedly, that’s one area where the proposal still needs some work. However, having an electorate composed of men who know each other well is important, so perhaps subdivision would be the solution in case population does explode.

    A”Trump=Hitler” Z is lying about the last part as well, naturally. I’ve said that each precinct would have its own laws, and that they would indeed be easy to memorize and understand. They would be possible, but very difficult, to change. Asking me for exact laws makes no sense, because it assumes they would be the same everywhere. They would probably be very similar, especially in nearby areas with similar culture and traditions, but there would still be local variations.

    Regarding at what age children would be responsible to know the laws, I would say younger children should learn the most simple laws first, such as don’t murder, don’t steal, don’t assault, etc; with responsibility for knowing the law at maturity (the age where a man can sign contracts, live independently, etc). Again, there will be some local variations as to the exact age.

    I’m against world government, and national government would only be military defense. Thus, why would I be dictating local laws?

    A”Trump =Hitler ” Z knows it is lying (or it’s bot programmers do). We know it’s lying. It knows we know its lying. Why does it continue to lie? What purpose does it achieve? Merely to waste other people’s time?
