Florida Governor Signs Repeal of “Resign-to-Run” for Presidential Elections

On May 24, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed SB 7050, an omnibus election law bill. Among other things, it repeals the “resign-to-run” law as applied to presidential candidates. “Resign-to-Run” laws exist in just a few states, and they require an elected office-holder to resign in the middle of his or her term, if he or she has run for another office and fails to be elected to the new office.

Without SB 7050, Governor DeSantis would be forced to resign as Governor on January 20, 2025, whether he had been elected to the presidency or not.

I like him as our governor, but he won’t get my vote for any office ever again for the rest of his life if he doesn’t stop his joke of a presidential campaign and endorse President Trump real soon. And that goes for the rest of our Vanilla ISIS Posse, Sheriff’s Department clique, and KKK Klavern. DeSantis could be persona non grata to a lot of Florida voters and Trump supporters real soon.

There’s only one reason a crAZy far left nAZi wouldn’t dispell well grounded suspicion that he/it claims to be God, on top of the other crAZy Absurd Zealotry exhibited in the repeated claim that Trump is no different than Hitler. It has nothing to do with a list of months during the Great Patriotic War, which Russia won with very minor help from the west.

    The reason is simple: crAZy wants to claim he/it is God, but without all the justified laughter that would provoke. If he/it wasn’t claiming to be God, he/it would just say so. Like when he/it asked me in return, or rather made insinuations, and I just said I am not God. How hard is that?

  10. DeSantis appears to be not ready for prime time, and should reconsider his vanity, stick to being governor of Florida, and endorse the far more qualified President Trump. However absurd Desantis’s hubris in running for President is, it’s neither as megalomaniacal or narcissistic as AZ apparently claiming to be God, nor as absurd as AZ repeatedly claiming that Trump is just like Hitler.

Meanwhile, whacko AZ still claims Trump is a tyrant and dictator on the order of Hitler, and refuses to disclaim believing he/it is God. Just saying.
