Judge denies Trump legal team’s motion to extend deadline over protective order dispute in election subversion case

A federal judge on Saturday denied a request from former President Donald Trump’s legal team for a deadline extension over the handling of evidence in the 2020 election subversion case.
Trump’s lawyers will have to respond by Monday afternoon to the Justice Department’s proposal for a protective order.
The decision from US District Judge Tanya Chutkan caps a flurry of activity in the case after special counsel Jack Smith’s team on Friday asked Chutkan to quickly set limits on what Trump’s team can do with the evidence that will be shared with them.
Their request pointed to a post by Trump on Truth Social from earlier in the day to argue that the former president has a habit of speaking publicly about the details of the various legal proceedings he’s facing.
“And in recent days, regarding this case, the defendant has issued multiple posts—either specifically or by implication — including the following, which the defendant posted just hours ago,” the special counsel’s office wrote, including a screenshot of the Truth Social post from Trump that read: “IF YOU GO AFTER ME, I’M COMING AFTER YOU!”

I have always thought this; but, never posted it here when I see incidents like this. If a potential candidate doesn’t have enough sense or time or brains to file their candidacy papers correctly than they don’t belong being elected as a leader of people. The only exception to this is when the ballot access laws are too vague or the system changes them up without notifying the potential candidate at the last minute.

Not buying into your delusional premises doesn’t make someone a troll moron. I don’t have any simplistic solutions, although I have preferences. At the moment, the best possible short term plausible outcome I see is getting President Trump back in office and as many people along his lines of thinking into as many offices as possible. The 2020 election was successfully overthrown by Biden, his party, and their Chinese puppet masters. I also advocate boycotting leftwing fake news, including the establishment lamestream media. I see politics as a highly imperfect art of the possible, and don’t have the hubris to insist I have all the answers, much less simplistic ones. As far as preventing another European world war or domestic disturbances such as those carried out by BLM and antifa, again Trump / MAGA is as good a start as we’ll get for now.
