I guess he is not ballot access savvy.
He would save lots of $ and time to run under an existing minor party that already has some ballot-status and access to some dedicated petitioners. He and his backers could then try to increase the number of states.
I will vote for him because his decision proves he has BALLS. Trump and Biden have been neutered.
He thinks that there are many people who will volunteer to get signatures for him.
You get what you pay for. Lots of potential pitfalls out there for the nonprofessional. I could name at least half a dozen just here in WV. Rotsa ruck.

Getting ballot access in a sufficient number of states to be a viable candidate will take a knowledgeable and competent project team to manage it, a large number of volunteers to gather the signatures and a whole lot of money to accomplish.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is capable of raising enough money to have a realistic shot at getting 50 state plus DC ballot access as am independent. If he has to spend $30 million or more on ballot access he can do it.
Chances are, he will do what Rocky dela Fuente has done, and get on the ballot thru single state third parties.
Either the American Independent or Peace and Freedom parties could get him on in California, which would be a big savings for him, and might actually make things interesting there in 2024
Maybe Rocky could be Kennedy’s VP candidate.
Speaking of Rocky, any chance he might go for the open Senate seat in California?

Not to mention the fact that, if he gets on the ballot in all the key swing states – which he should make as a priority – chances are good that no one will carry any swing state with a 50%+ majority, thus improving the case for alternative voting methods – at least for President -in those states.
Why would I vote for a Kennedy when I’m right-wing? When you are six years old standing by the railroad tracks watching a train go by with a dead Presidents coffin with people around you hysterically crying and remember seeing Jackie standing by herself on the rear car dressed in widows black attire looking sad. That dramatic childhood memory sticks in your mind forever because you and others were helpless at that time to fix it……….until now.
