Libertarian Party Candidate Wins Mayoral Race in Wichita, Kansas — 14 Comments
Sooo..when is the libertarian mayor going to legalize every vice, abolish every tax and regulation, and bring back lead paint? 😉
HOW MANY SECONDS UNTIL THE STATIST KS REGIME REMOVES THE LP MAYOR AND/OR ABOLISHES WICHITA ???
Well done Lilly, this is indeed huge. Justin was elected to Congress as a Republican. Good stepping stone to run as Libertarian Presidential or VP candidate for 2028.
Good to see commie Whipple lose.
It’s nonpartisan. It doesn’t matter.
She’s not a libertarian. The Libertarian Party of Kansas says they want nothing to do with her.

Arnold, it’s more like she wanted little to do with them, at least according to the party chair:

Gato is correct, the Newsweek article failed to mention that the election was non-partisan with a top-two primary.
The feeling was mutual, then. So stop calling her a Libertarian.

Is there any worth identifying as a libertarian without influence on policy and culture? The answer is resoundingly, NO.
The “not libertarian” gatekeeping wimps compared to successful candidates that align or identify libertarian are part of the problem.
Give me statist opponents over such fair weather friends anytime.
Vu attended the Charles Koch Institute.
Charles Koch = GOP.
@Ben,
David Koch was Libertarian VP candidate in 1980.
That was in 1980. After 1983 they broke with the libertarians and became the biggest donors to the GOP.
