The biggest factor in control of the next congress will be Trump’s coattails from his massive, historic landslide victory. Republicans will have the biggest margin they have had in Congress in a century. Redistricting will be a drop in the bucket regardless of how it plays out.
Multiple strong candidates help plurality winner have a bigger electoral college edge, thus my prediction is 40 states for Trump, including a few you would not expect.
