Iowa House Passes Bill that Makes Section Three Challenges Impossible

On March 5, the Iowa House passed HF2610, which makes it impossible for any challenge to be filed against a candidate on the grounds listed in Section Three of the Fourteenth Amendment. The vote was 62-35.

  1. Why do states even need to do that? The Supreme Court gave a decision and that’s it. Follow it!
