Natural Law Party of Michigan Nominates Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., for President

On April 17, the Natural Law Party of Michigan, which is ballot-qualified, nominated Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., for president. The party has a tradition of nominating minor party or independent presidential candidates to help them with ballot access.

In 2020, it nominated Rocky De La Fuente, nominee of the Alliance Party. In 2016 it nominated Mimi Soltysik, the Socialist Party nominee. In 2012 it nominated Rocky Anderson, Justice Party nominee. In 2008 it nominated Ralph Nader, an independent candidate that year. In 2004 it nominated Walt Brown, the Socialist Party nominee. Of course before then, it always nominated the national nominee of the Natural Law Party, John Hagelin.

  1. American Values 2024 PAC paid for petition sigs for RFK Jr. in Michigan but they can’t use any of them because it violated election law for a Super PAC to pay for a ballot access petition drive.

  2. Jones has a definite opening in Michigan. While a lot of retards there are loyal to Biden, a fair number are uncommitted. No doubt, in a sane country they would be committed to a secure facility, but we’re talking about damn near Canada here.

  3. Oops, I did it again
    I played president
    Got lost on the stage…

  4. Florida is the only other state for the Natural Law Party, and I heard they needed tp refile paperwork with the state to be recognized there again.

  5. Just as long as it’s not the Bud Light party. That’s a party you want to stay away from unless you want to wake up and find out you had a sex change operation.

  6. ANY $$$ BRIBE TO MICH NLP FROM RFKJR OR TRUMP HACKS ???

HOW MANY SECONDS BEFORE MICH NLP IS *INVESTIGATED* BY THE MICH COMMIE DONKEY HYDRA GANG OF 3 – GUV/AG/SOS ???

  7. I’ll point out that Kennedy and the campaign said he doesn’t need the LP for ballot access yet within days is accepting ballot access from a different minor party. Makes me wonder what is going on in there. What’s the truth?

  8. Hector, there’s no big mystery. The natural law party is a zombie party in one or possibly two states. There’s no active party left. It’s sole purpose now is as a ballot access vehicle for candidates like Kennedy, presumably in exchange for money.

Unlike with libertarians, there was no chance of coming to a national convention and losing, which would have been covered by media and highly embarrassing. There’s no battle to wage online regarding whether he’s a carpetbagger to the party. There’s no national committee that might pull his nomination based on his campaign after he gets nominated. No down ticket candidates he might find embarrassing (Q Anon Shaman, etc) or vice versa.

If I’m not mistaken, it’s not even the first one state party he accepted the nomination of. Libertarians would be a different matter. They have more ballot access, but it would come at a much higher price in terms of the campaign independence, message crafting, etc.

  9. I’m a Biden
    Standing in my Biden stance
Hurry up and give me another term
Before I mess up my pants

  10. I knew the Natural Law Party had nothing to do with natural law, but I didn’t realize it was so strongly opposed to natural law as to nominate the likes of Nader, Brown and Saltysick.

  12. Uncommitted lunatics are joining forces with brain frozen retards to make it happen in construction site portapots and truck stop toilets all over Michigan as we speak.

  13. There’s a lot of votes in the graveyards for the demon rats and retards to split.

  14. My name is Kennedy, my campaign is not a disgrace, I’m going to kick Biden and Trump, right in their face!

  16. The border is secure, Bidenomics is great, I wasn’t involved in Hunter’s foreign influence peddling, and cannibals ate my uncle.

  17. I forgot a big one. Libertarians select a vp separately from potus. So Kennedy would have run the risk of being saddled with a VP candidate other than the one he chose if he were to seek and get the libertarian nomination. So long as that rule remains in place, libertarians will have limited success attracting outside candidates. Whether they want to attract them or repel them is an open question, as I understand it.

  18. ANY BAN POSTERS WORKING FOR LATE NIGHT TV SHOWS ???

NO SHORTAGE OF *HUMOR* — SLANDER / LIBEL ABOUT BIDEN / TRUMP / ETC.

  19. There should be an exception to the Constitution where Trump can serve unlimited terms.

  20. I just got my Republican primary absentee ballot. I chose GOP because I wanted to do a protest vote against Trump and did it. One less vote for TRUMP in the May primary in my state and a protest vote for his GOP rival. Gosh that felt good I did that. Its like given the middle finger to all Trumpites where it counts.

  21. Does anyone know if the NLP nominated only the Kennedy-Shanahan ticket (and associated electors) at this convention? Did they nominate other NLP candidates for offices within Michigan? Or did they hold a special “national” convention just for that, planning to wait until later to nominate other candidates?

  22. Do they often nominate nonpresidential candidates? My impression was not in quite a few years.
