Montana Libertarian Party Places Chase Oliver on General Election Ballot

The Montana Libertarian Party has sent in paperework to list Chase Oliver as the party’s presidential nominee.  Normally this would not be newsworthy, but in this case it is.  Earlier the state party had said it would not place anyone on the ballot for president.

Montana Libertarian Party Places Chase Oliver on General Election Ballot — 46 Comments

  1. I’m glad to hear this. Now if they’d only place him on the New York ballot…

  2. How stupid. They bent over to the commie child abuse supporting faction of the party.

  3. I believe that Chase Oliver is on the ballot in all the presumed “battleground” states. With Kennedy out of the race, Libertarian votes in those states could cover the vote spread. The only question is, in whose favor? It could be interesting.

  4. If Oliver was a choice in my state I’d vote for him (assuming Kennedy isn’t a choice). But I don’t think he’s a very good candidate. Maybe he’d make a good candidate for Vice President. And I realize he puts a lot of time into this. However, something has happened to the Libertarian Party over the last few years. I don’t know what the problem is but I hope they fix it.

  5. Anyone who votes for child abuse supporter Chase Oliver is a fucking communist retard.

  6. Term Limits NY asks:

“Do we have an accurate projection of where he will Not be on the ballot?”

    According to this article:

    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Third-party_and_independent_candidates_for_the_2024_United_States_presidential_election

Oliver was not certified on the ballot in 4 places for which the deadline has passed: DC, IL, NY and TN. I believe that there is ongoing litigation in IL and NY. In TN, it appears that the state LP placed alternative candidates on the ballot.

  7. In addition to New York, as everyone knows, Wikipedia claims it’s too late for Chase Oliver to make the ballot in Illinois and DC too. Other states where he might not appear: MA, VA, KY, TN, AL.

  8. With Oliver on the ballot now in 41 states (including Montana), he is already on more state ballots than David Bergland in 1984 (39 states), which was also a year in which the party had an internal split.

  9. “Other states where he might not appear: MA, VA, KY, TN, AL.”

I have it on good authority that Oliver will probably be on the ballot in MA.

  10. Angela McArdle is now pushing child abuse supporter Chase Oliver. She needs to be removed as chair immediately.

  11. IMO, I think that Angela has concluded that Oliver will probably take more votes from Harris.

    Well, we shall see.

  12. Those who took part in the blacklisting of certain entertainment figures in the 1950s because of alleged Communist ties would be proud of certain contributors to ballot-access.org. As far as Chase Oliver being on the ballot in New York State, well, good luck.

  13. “Gender dysphoria” is just another term for mental illness. Richard Winger fails to indicate the hundreds of stories of adults who did this as teens and regret it. He also fails to mention the doctors and hospitals who do this solely for money instead of the actual welfare of the child.

  14. Chase Oliver was too busy trying to convince 6 year olds to have sex change operations without telling their parents. That’s the kind of child abuse he supports.

  15. Chase Oliver should be banned from being within 1000 feet of a school, daycare, or park.

  16. That wouldn’t have prevented Oliver from qualifying there. Both would qualify as independents. Did that other ticket qualify?

  17. I like to imagine three levels of involvement with a campaign. The first level includes people who craft party platforms and policy positions for a candidate. They have roles in the party or the campaign that involve a lot of responsibility for handling money, keeping on top of legal issues, and getting people involved. And they participate at conventions. The second level includes people who have no power to create a platform, handle lots of money, draft paperwork, etc. Those are the people who volunteer on the weekend to knock on a few doors and ask for small amounts of money and signatures. The third level includes people who are committed to voting for the candidate and might contribute a few bucks, write a letter to a paper, or participate in online conversations. But they have no real involvement in the campaign.

I think Oliver’s campaign is weakest in the second category. And that’s why there are some states that are getting missed.

  18. I think it’s more of the fact Chase Oliver to too busy trying to groom out children because he’s a sick fuck.

  19. Term limits,

That’s not how ballot access typically happens. Most signatures are typically collected by professional signature gatherers who travel around to different states and will collect signatures for whoever pays them the best, or multiple competing campaigns at the same time time where allowed by law. They typically collect most signatures at public locations, not door to door.

Most of the money these days is collected online and some at campaign events. Very little door to door.

  20. Nevertheless, Oliver is still on the ballot in 41 states, and counting. That’s more than any other third party or independent candidate, including Kennedy.

  21. Kennedy submitted enough signatures to qualify in more states than Chasing Oliver. He won’t, but only because he will now ask states to take him off.

  22. Keep in mind that Oliver also had to work to get the party’s nomination, and that, too, was a challenge. Kennedy thought that he could just waltz in and get the party’s nomination.

  23. Chase Oliver rigged the convention with fake delegates to get the nomination. He should be immediately expelled from the party.

  24. I think Chase Oliver is on the Tennessee ballot as an independent. His petition had over 450 signatures.
I feel quite confident that all the commenters above did not read the US Supreme Court brief that I linked to. A thoughtful person would want to read both sides. The comments so far about the gender issue do not convey anything persuasive, and certainly do not rebut the many scientists who have studied the issue and support the treatment.

  25. Which scientists? Far left hacks? Any real scientist agrees this is child abuse. Any real scientist knows messing with a child’s puberty will cause permanent damage to their body and mind. Any real scientist knows how many now adults regretted this decision, as well as their parents.

Chase Oliver supports child abuse and is a groomer. End of discussion.

  26. The tweet’s still up:

“The Montana Libertarian Party has officially rejected Chase Oliver as our presidential candidate.

We have maintained that we will always prioritize Montana first, and we do not believe his campaign advances our goals in this state.

Similarly situated states should follow our lead, and we call upon the LNC to consider suspending and replacing him.”

Did Harlos and her cronies screw over the MTLP the same way as the LPCO? (And can the LPs please decide once and for all whether to use state before party or party before state in their abbreviations? Thanks.)

  27. For those interested in gender care, go to supremecourt.gov and input case number 23-477. Then choose “case documents”. Then you can read the brief and the amici, which will tell you which scientists support gender care. Also there is an amicus brief in which 57 transgender individuals describe how their lives were saved by the care.

  28. Saved? How about therapy? Why are you so obsessed with supporting this irrevocable harm to our children? What is wrong with you? Our children should not be groomed.

Stop calling it gender care. It’s a sex change operation. What is it with you far left lunatics changing our verbiage? Obviously you know calling it what it really will make it unpopular.

  29. There was a mistake in wokepedoya. They now show Tennessee as submitted. Only NY, IL and DC are shown as too late.
