Twenty-four Individuals are on the Presidential Ballot in at Least One State

At the November 2024 election, twenty-four individuals are on the ballot for President in at least one state. That is down from 2020, when there were thirty-six, a historic record. The reason there were so many in 2020 is that Vermont let anyone on by request, and Colorado allowed anyone on who paid $1,000. Neither of those states have those policies any longer.

  1. HOW ABOUT I. M. DOOFUSS — THE TROLL MORON RETARD PARTY CIC — USING SCORES OF FAKE NAMES IN BAN POSTS ???

HOW MANY E LAW CASES ON SCOTUS DOCKET ???

  2. 2020 was crazy, with Vermont voters having over 20 candidates to choose from. The ‘voter confusion’ must have been intense.

  3. which states have the most candidates on the ballot per district for Congress or for the state legislature?

  4. Damn shame about Dennis Schuller [Legal Marijuana Now] – I know that it was reported they were attempting to get on Minnesota’s ballot by petition, but apparently that didn’t pan out.

  6. We need a severe nationwide and worldwide crackdown on marijuana and all illegal drugs. The drug war can, should, must, and shall be won in the same way China did in the 19th century.

  7. “We need a severe nationwide […] crackdown on marijuana and all illegal drugs.”
    Yes.

“We need a severe […] worldwide crackdown on marijuana and all illegal drugs.”
No. Substance abuse does not justify foreign intervention.

“The drug war can […] be won”
    Probably.

“The drug war […] should […] be won”
    Yes.

“The drug war […] must […] be won”
    Yes.

“The drug war […] shall be won”
    Hopefully.

“in the same way China did in the 19th century.”
Absolutely not. China’s ill-advised bungling of the Opium Wars was directly responsible for the subsequent Boxer Rebellion, and indirectly for the Chinese communist revolution.

No problem, glad to be of service!

When is Utah’s hard deadline for revealing ones ticket? I feel like that should already have been(?)

  9. @Nuña
Idk, but this Utah sample ballot is interesting. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&opi=89978449&url=https://www.utah.gov/pmn/files/1173667.pdf&ved=2ahUKEwj0ktfC5uSIAxVkKEQIHewLC8gQFnoECCMQAQ&usg=AOvVaw2Squ4h_bjI86Bqg7VyyQIS

Note how Lucifer’s full name is the only one that’s long enough to take up 2 lines and he’s also the only one to not have a VP listed … it’s as if Utah thought that “Everylove” was his VP because it was written on the second line lmao.

“Joining Shiva on the [Utah] ballot is Lucifer “Justin Case” Everylove. Details are a bit hard to track down for [him], but we did find that he is a world traveler, snuck into DEFCON ’23, and runs a workshop on the use of psychedelics called Toad School.” Fascinating

  10. Yeah, he seems like a very – how shall I put it – “colorful” character.

It would be wild if nobody at Utah’s board of elections cottoned on to the fact that despite his long name, he is not two people. Like, how many pairs of eyes would that have had to slip past repeatedly?

It seems more plausible to me that Utah allows a ridiculously late announcement of ones running-mate, or something. But that would still be very odd, given that the absentee and mail-in ballots would presumably already have been printed without any VP candidate.
