Why in Indiana would these ballot be counted because of emendation error before printing? What is it that would allow a ballot printed in error in Indiana to be counted at all? How would that bring about a fair election? Getting ballots that were printed in error is reasonable. Counting flawed printed ballot showed be against the law.
