“Other” Vote for President Was 2.0%

Although not all the votes for president have been counted, virtually all of them have been. The number of voters who cast a vote for president for someone other than Donald Trump or Kamala Harris has risen to a hair less than 2.0%. As of ten days ago it was at 1.90%.

As more votes have been counted, the margin between Trump and Harris has shrunk to 1.55%. As of ten days ago, it had been 1.62%.

  1. Interesting. My latest count is 2,937,935 (1.90%). I wonder what the discrepancy is.

  3. It’s the provisional ballots, not the absentee ballots, that take so long to count. The provision ballot can’t be counted until it is clear that the original ballot sent to that same voter, and which the voter lost, didn’t get sent in.
