The American Constitution Society for Law and Policy, and American University’s College of Law, will jointly sponsor a debate on the National Popular Vote Plan on November 17 (Tuesday), between noon and 2 p.m. Register to attend at this link. Arguing in favor of the Plan will be the plan’s chief advocate, John Koza, and Maryland State Senator Jaime Raskin, who sponsored the first National Popular Vote Plan bill in the nation that was signed into law. On the other side will be CATO’s John Samples, and Professor Alexander Belenky, author of “How America Elects its Presidents.” The debate will be at American University’s College of Law, 4801 Massachusetts Ave. NW, Washington DC. The sun will continue to rise even if ALL electors in the U.S.A. vote for a NONPARTISAN U.S.A. Prez — who will then pay attention to all parts of the U.S.A. — unlike now when a new party hack Prez pays attention ONLY to the party hack voters in the marginal gerrymander States that elected him/her — i.e. about 30 percent of the voters.
