Wales Switches to Party-List Proportional Representation for its Parliament — 4 Comments

  1. MAJOR PRESSURE TO GET PR INTO MINORITY RULE GERRYMANDER UK HOUSE OF COMMONS ???

NOOO LISTS – BY TOP MONARCHS/OLIGARCHS
PUBLIC PRE-ELECTION RANK LISTS BY CANDIDATES

    PR
    APPV
    TOTSOP

  2. Because of the smaller regions under the new system it may be less proportional than the current system. Making all regions the same magnitude will result in less geographical proportionality. They would be better off using fractional representation.

Note: Under British parlance, the Sennad is not a parliament.

  3. @AZ,

Each candidate would have to rank order 100s of candidates? Which members of the public would peruse these lists?
