  3. Congratulations to Comrade Jeannette Jara coming in first with nearly 27% of the vote. She should easily win the December 1st runoff.

  4. I just learned that this election was the first time that all eligible voters were automatically registered to vote and that voting was compulsory. I wonder what the consequences are if one does not vote. Are there religious exemptions?

  5. Confused: My imposter made those claims, not me.

Joe: The topic is the Chilean Presidential election and I added what was news to me about voting in Chile. Why do you say that is trolling?

  6. Vince: I retired on December 20th 2024 but continued to work part-time until July 4th 2025 when I was confident that I could live with Social Security as my sole income.

  7. Vince: I don’t speak in code. Satanists are more trustworthy than many followers of the Christian superstition. Why are you going off topic of the Chilean Presidential election and personally attacking me? Sounds like you are a troll.

  8. Vince: How is admitting I made a mistake by typing the wrong date then correcting said mistake a lie?

  9. People who don’t vote are fined approximately $35 US dollars. It’s a much bigger number in Chilean pesos, but it is the equivalent of $35.
