The Prohibition Party has qualified to have its registrations tallied in Alaska. The only other unqualified parties in Alaska that have that status are the Green, Constitution, Veterans, and Clowns Parties. In addition, the party is waiting to see if its petition for presidential status in 2028 has enough valid signatures.
The only states in which the Prohibition Party has never been on a government-printed ballot are Alaska, Hawaii, and South Carolina.
Woo Hoo! Go Drys!
HOW MUCH BOOZE DRINKING IN FROZEN NORTHERN AK TO SURVIVE THE 24 HOUR NIGHTS ???
I wish they had a chapter in my state.
Start one?
I am surprised that the Libertarian Party does not have registration tally privileges there.
Because you are a party drone?
Whitfield is a party hack. He’d vote for Xi if there was a L next to his name.
It’s bad enough he voted for communist Chase Oliver.
To Term Limits in NY… I believe they do.
The four qualified parties in Alaska are Dem, Rep, Alaskan Independence and Libertarian. Of course they have registration rights.
Alaska recognizes “political groups” which only requires an annual application. The Prohibition Party application listed a New York address.
The Alaska America Party, Conservative Party USA, and Reform Alaska Permanent Fund Dividend Party are also listed.
The Clowns Party is properly the “UCES’ Clowns Party”
Candidates registered with a political group can have that registration reflected on the ballot.
What is the difference between them and libertarians?
Thanks, Richard for clarifying that point. Now I understand.
There is no difference.
