There appears to be no level to which the Republican Party won’t stoop to attack the Citizen Initiative & Referendum process in some states. Richard Winger has previously blogged about the effort in Missouri to place a referendum on the ballot in 2026 to overturn the latest state legislature gerrymandering of the US House district map.
Here is a recent story on what the Republican Party of Missouri is up to now.
FAKE NEWS from commie Redpath. Notice how poorly the LP budget is run under his watch.
Redpath posts an opinion piece from a communist website. Clearly not credible

SCOTUS – ONE MORE CAMP FIN CASE
I am not a fan of Advanced Micro Targeting, but I seriously doubt they are hiring illegal aliens or non-citizens in general. Some states have laws which require petition circulators to be American citizens and at least 18 years old. I think Missouru does have a law like this. I only worked a petition drive in Missouri once and I recall that there was a petition circulator declaration on each page which the circulator had to sign and get notarized. I seriously doubt any illegal aliens would do this as it would increase their odds of getting caught and I am skepticsl that any legal immigrants would do this as it likely violates the law and I doubt the petition company or proponent would want to take that risk.
Furthermore, unless a foreign person has at least pretty good English they generally do not make very good petition circulators. I have interacted with many petition circulators over the years and I have rarely encountered any who spoke with a non-English dialect accent. It is very difficult to get registered voters to stop and sign a petition if they have a difficult time understanding what the person asking them to sign is saying.
Bill linked to a news story, not an opinion piece.
Richard, it clearly says OPINION in red at the top. It’s an opinion piece.
It is a news story because it is revealing the news that the state is claiming that the company uses illegal aliens. It is also giving an opinion that the state’s claims are bogus. So it is a news story containing an opinion.
An ordinary opinion piece discusses events that have already been reported.
It’s very possible they are. Commies love illegal aliens.
This is opinion because it’s speculation.
The stories are true. They are trafficked alien invaders. They do not speak English. They forge signatures or gather them from other illegals that are fraudulently registered to vote.
