Michigan Gubernatorial Poll Shows Almost a Three-Way Tie — 12 Comments

  1. “The Michigan Democratic Party has relentlessly attacked Duggan, fearing his third party candidacy will take votes away from the Democratic candidate in the general electioin (sic)”

    Let’s hope they’re right.

  2. After the wicked gretch… overdue for a break from fascist communist demonRat govs

  3. What entitlement from the “Democratic” Party Establishment. With Duggan *leading* in that poll, the math would work the other way around according to their own “spoiler” arguments.

  4. I wish I lived in a state where a second party was legal. We really have only one. It calls itself Republican in majority white areas and Democrat in majority black areas. Seriously contested elections are so rare that they may as well not exist. Republicans have supermajority control at federal and statewide levels and demand loyalty in the primary while making it harder for minor parties to qualify than almost any other state.

  5. Alternative political parties are legal in every state. Some states have just made ballot access more difficult than other.

Diane Sahre of the LaRouche Party got on the ballot in New York for US Senate in 2024, so it is not impossible.

  6. The post office should have absolutely nothing to do with voting, even given the highly dubious notion that it should continue to exist in any form at all.

  7. Separate and Un-equal ballot access laws for all INDEES for partisan offices in all 50 States.
