Cleveland.com is apparently also fake news. They claim there was a Libertarian campaign by Ron Paul in 2008. That is a lie. The only time Ron Paul ever mistook Libertarian for libertarian was 1987-8, but the lying fake news media have been lying and slandering him as a Libertarian candidate in all his subsequent campaigns.
Kanter could have donated to Ron Paul’s 1988 Libertarian campaign, or his 2008 Republican campaign, but he couldn’t have donated to a nonexistent 2008 Ron Paul Libertarian campaign.
Donating to Ron Paul in 2008 doesn’t help establish Kanter’s Libertarian Party credentials, although the more recent donations to the LNC do. If anything, it helps establish his Republican credentials.
