On May 12, Nebraska held its 2026 primaries. Cindy Burbank overwhelmingly won the U.S. Senate nomination in the Democratic primary. She has over 90% of the vote. She had promised that if she were the nominee, she would withdraw from the general election, in order to help independent candidate Dan Osborn win in the general election.

She shoudl be required to stay on teh ballot. Winning a primary in order to drop out is fraud against the voters.
She should be required to run laps until she collapses each time she comes to from the last collapse from now until November.
Forcing her to stay on the ballot would only perpetuate the fraud, since she can’t be forced to serve if she wins. I like the other suggestions above better.
Voters should punish her scheme by voting the straight Republican ticket.

I think she can be forced to serve the public for the next six years, without having to win anything, albeit not in the US Senate.
She could serve the people of Nebraska right at home and help them live the good life by,for example, picking up trash by the side of highways and byways on a chain gang, assisting in the manufacturing of license plates, or helping sew police uniforms 120 hours each week like a good little blasphemous “p*ssy riot” whore being punished by Godly ordained government!
