On September 8, U.S. Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh rejected Missouri’s attempt to stop the State Supreme Court’s order that restored the 2022 U.S. District House boundaries. He didn’t even refer the matter to the full U.S. Supreme Court. Hoskins v Von Glahn, 26A304. Furthermore, he acted only a few hours after some of the briefs on Missouri’s side had been filed.

Amici briefs on Missouri’s side had been filed by the states of Florida and Texas, by the national Republican Party and the Missouri Republican Party, and by Jay Sekulow’s American Center for Law and Justice.
