Suffolk University and USA Today have released a poll for the New Jersey gubernatorial race being held on November 7, 2017. The poll is unusual because it asked about each candidate on the ballot. Generally New Jersey polls for U.S. Senate and Governor do not do that, because there are more candidates on the ballot in such elections in New Jersey than in other states.
The poll shows one independent, and the Libertarian, at 2%, with each of the others at 1% or less. There is still a very large undecided vote, and the Democratic nominee is leading the Republican nominee by 20 points. Thanks to Political Wire for the link.
The September 25 San Francisco Chronicle has an editorial titled, “Six bills the governor must sign.” Included in the six bills is SB 568, which moves all primaries from June to early March. The Governor has until October 15 to act on the bill.
