According to this story, former Texas Governor Rick Perry did not vote in the March 1 Texas primary. Perry says he mailed his ballot in, and that it must have been lost in the postal mail.
Montana’s presidential primaries are June 7. According to this story, officials of the Ted Cruz campaign say they have examined the petition to put John Kasich on the Republican presidential primary, and they believe Kasich does not have enough valid signatures.
Montana requires 500 signatures. Any registered voter can sign. Kasich submitted 622 signatures. There is as yet no legal challenge to the Kasich petition. Thanks to Mike Fellows for this news.
Due to a technical error by the Democratic Party of Washington, D.C., there is a possibility that Bernie Sanders’ name may be omitted from the D.C. The Constitution Party’s petition for party status in South Dakota has been approved by the Secretary of State. The party is now on the ballot for president in 17 states. Four years ago at this time, it was on in 14 states.
