The percentages are: Democratic 54.11%; Republican 23.99%; Libertarian .42%; Green .16%; Working Class .10%; independent and other 21.23%.
On September 30, 2020, the percentages were: Democratic 54.99%; Republican 24.74%; Libertarian .34%; Green .14%; Working Class .04%; Bread & Roses .02%; independent and other 19.73%. The Bread & Roses Party is no longer on the ballot.
July 11 is the Illinois deadline for petitions to place independent candidates, and the nominees of unqualified parties, on the ballot. The only group that has petitioned this year in Illinois for statewide office is the Libertarian Party, which expects to submit approximately 36,700 signatures. The legal requirement is 25,000.
Kansas registration data for July 1, 2022, is: Republican 851,882; Democratic 495,574; Libertarian 22,207; independent and other, 560,309.
Percentages are: Republican 44.14%; Democratic 25.68%; Libertarian 1.15%; independent and other, 29.03%.
Percentages in October 2020 were: Republican 45.10%; Democratic 26.53%; Libertarian 1.06%; independent and other, 27.32%.
