Free & Equal Presidential Debate

Free & Equal sponsored a presidential debate for 18 presidential candidates on March 4. There were two separate events. The first, from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., included: Sedinam Moyowasifza-Curry (Green); Mark Stewart (Democrat); Ben Zion (Transhumanist); Brian Carroll (American Solidarity); Dan Behrman (Libertarian); Arvin Vohra (Libertarian); John Richard Myers (Life & Liberty); Eric Gerhardt (Libertarian); and Charles Kraut (Constitution).

The second event, from 6:30 pm to 10 pm, included: Mark Charles (independent); Howie Hawkins (Green); Zoltan Istvan (Republican); Mosie Boyd (Democrat); Vermin Supreme (Libertarian); Adam Kokesh (Libertarian); Jo Jorgensen (Libertarian); Ken Armstrong (Libertarian); and Gloria La Riva (Part for Socialism & Liberation).

Independent Political Report has these links to each event. The first you tube is silent until the six-minute mark, so anyone might want to advance the time to six-minutes. For those who want a quick impression, all eighteen candidates gave a one-minute introduction to themselves, and that can be seen at the beginning of the second you tube.

The event was held at the Chicago Hilton.

  1. What happened to Don Blankenship? I wanted him to be at the debate so I could compare some CP candidates. Has he done anything? Charles Kraut has events a several state CP parties.

  2. Like I said, I bought two general admission tickets but did not go. I did not qualify. Having not filed with the FEC. How could I with no treasurer or campaign manager?
I must say over the years my campaign has been successfully suppressed.
I can see the greens and libertarians failing to support PLAS.
But for ALL third party and independents to fail to support Top Ten?
There MUST be some sort of suppression going on, because Top Ten would make ALL parties and independents possibly viable-could possibly win. Except possibly the LP. Their clear polling ceiling is about 13%. Absolute Max 20%.

  3. @Vg, Don Blankenship was in the California and North Carolina primaries. He finished ahead of Mr. Kraut in both, but was unable to attend the Chicago event yesterday. He is on the ballots in both the Missouri and Idaho primaries next Tuesday along with Mr. Kraut and some others. I hear that Randy Stufflebeam is organizing a CP presidential debate through the Illinois affiliate which will probably be via telephone (like the last one he ran in 2012), so all of their five declared candidates will likely be participating in that one. NOTE: this is just information. I do not endorse or support ANY presidential candidate at this time.

  4. … since my guy, John McAfee, terminated his campaign yesterday. If you believe that, I have a free pony for you.

  5. I am positive about this debate, but it per se is symptomatic of the fact of lack of individual party debates culminating in one or more Top Ten debates.
9 candidates debating for three hours followed by nine more for another three hours! Yikes!
Too much of a good thing!
I wished I had participated but I am glad I did not. I could not have participated for the whole thing, I do not think.
I am having a difficult time listening to the videotapes posted on IPR and The Saturnalian.
I quickly heard positions I vehemently disagreed with. Mixing up such widely diverse opinions and positions is interesting but highly inefficient.
Now, as an experiment, I will post this comment. We will see if there are subsequent comments. Because if not, maybe my comments go on a page that only I see on my end. i.e. I am being suppressed by very ingenious method of only allowing me to see my posts, then I gradually stop posting on that thread.
Whereas everyone else sees further comments by others?????????

  6. Zoltan Istvan is now claiming to be a Republican?

He’s “transhumanist,” so why not run on the Martian party, or else run for President of Mars.

  7. Nice Israeli false flag covert operation, that Orlando Pulse Club thing.
I must say you guys are good.
Too bad the little old lady didn’t shove me well enough so that I would break the frozen food double paned glass door
in Walmart. Other than that, nice operation.
Any U.S. or District attorney would be hard pressed to prove it deliberate and not an accident.
Israelis backed by U.S. intelligence and supercomputers, ingenious, I must say.
And the Abraham Zapruder operation, ingenious!
Of course he looked upset while being interviewed on national tv. HE WAs, SET up, that is.
Jolly good show, that JFK assassination was!
    Congratulations!

  8. And nice try to get that recruit drunk and aim him at me as I crossed the highway.
Too bad the alert Oaklyn, NJ cop pulled him over DUI!
Thanks unsung hero Oaklyn, NJ cop!
This was in 1990, shortly after I got out of federal prison in 1989, having maxed out i.e. not getting a deal for reduced sentence FRCP 35.

  9. Howie Hawkins of the Green Party and Gloria LaRiva of the Party for Socialism and Liberation both appeared on the Peace and Freedom Party ballot in California’s March 3rd primary.

LaRiva won by about a 2 to 1 margin over Hawkins, but looking at the as yet incmplete returns Hawkins appears to have gotten many more votes statewide than LaRiva because he alone appeared on not only the PFP line but was also the apparent winner of the Green Party primary.

PFP has been taken over by a statewide cabal headed by Kevin Akin of Riverside which has set up a closed, secretive politboro style. Akin’s Communist Party background which he now hides and even denies can be verified at Key Wiki DOT org where Akin’s 2nd wife Margie is also listed. PFP now disregards the preferences of its own registrants in favor of a rigged county elector system designed to stifle criticism of Kevin or his colluding comrades.
