On November 25, six Georgia Republican presidential elector candidates filed a federal lawsuit, arguing that the Georgia election returns should be set aside. They assert that the Dominion vote-counting equipment fraudulently increased Joe Biden’s vote count by 96,000 votes. Pearson v Kemp, n.d., 1:20cv-4809.
Georgia has sixteen electoral votes, which means that ten of the Republican presidential elector candidates did not join this lawsuit.
It looks pretty clear to me that there was a lot of vote fraud in this election in multiple states to favor Joe Biden.

First of all just look at the rallies. There were many thousands of enthusiastic TRUMP supporters at every rally. Hardly anyone ever showed up at a dementia Joe rally. Secondly as a Florida constable I ride around all the time and there were tons of TRUMP signs and flags and zero for sleepy joe. The truth is that by the time Mexicans become citizens and bother to vote they don’t want any more Mexican rapists to invade thus country either and the negroes sure don’t want them coming over here and taking all the good COTTON picking jobs either.
I talked to many ladies also they all told me that what TRUMP said on the billy bush tape was true. They would ABSOLUTELY let TRUMP do anything. Of course they all voted for TRUMP. It’s sort of an interesting decision that the people making the “Trump won GA” argument seem to be more focused on trying to argue that Collins finished ahead of Loeffler than trying to get Perdue out of his runoff.
I have always been a believer in states rights and each state to conduct its own election affairs. However, I have now changed my opinion and that states should not individually conduct elections and that the federal government needs to step in and run it, including having fair and easy ballot access for candidates. The 2020 election should be the election where states blew their chance at conducting their own affairs regarding elections in their respective states.
I would like to hear from Mr. Winger on this subject.
By December 14, we will see which slates of electors actually vote. It wouldn’t surprise me if several states have competing slates vote (most possibly GA, MI, PA and AZ), and Congress will have to choose which to accept, as they did in 1876. Which makes me wonder why some Trump supporters are so daft that they want to boycott the Senatorial runoffs in Georgia just to protest the voting machines used there.

I would NOT want the federal government to conduct elections. That would be the end of the federal system, for sure, and cause a LOT of unintended consequences, that I don’t have time to mention, but some of which should be clear to any objective observer and student of history.
There is already lots of federal government control over federal elections. The federal government regulates campaign finance for federal elections. It mandates which kind of vote-counting equipment can or can’t be used. It mandates postcard registration forms. It mandates that motor vehicle departments and welfare offices give people a chance to register to vote. In nine sessions of congress, bills have been introduced to outlaw restrictive ballot access laws. The sponsors were John Conyers, then Tim Penny, then Ron Paul. Ron Paul introduced it in 4 sessions of congress, and in 1998 he got it attached to another bill, so it got a vote on the House floor. However only 67 members of the House voted for it.
It is really a sad commentary on the state of this country that people can register to vote at welfare offices. People on welfare should mot be able to vote, and for that matter, government welfare offices should not exist.

Federal elections should be held on a separate election day, using paper ballots, one per office. Voting would be in person, with ballots hand counted at end of the day. Election precincts would be limited in size (500 voters?).
Voters would show their federal ID. When they update their address on the ID their registration would be moved.
Remote ballot centers would be established in foreign countries, in embassies, consulates, military bases, etc. A US citizen would go to the voting center, ballots would be printed, voted and captured. Remote vote centers throughout the US could be used by interstate or intrastate travelers.
Congressional elections would be open to all candidates with no partisan nominations. Representative candidates would demonstrate support of 200 persons at courthouses. Senate candidates 200 x number of representatives (cap of 1000).
Election would be by majority. If no candidate has majority, candidates with cumulative 90% of vote would qualify for the next round (at least one candidate would be eliminated). Repeat at 14 day intervals as necessary.
States could appoint presidential electors on this day by popular election if they conform to uniform standards. Other states could choose their time and manner of appointment, so long as it is within 6 months of the meeting date of electors.

with a federal system, you don’t need uniform definition of voters, or a national ID. This is actually one reason that we have the electoral college. Since it is the electors that vote for President, and not individual citizens, there is only need to define who the electors are, and how many, as the constitution does.
That doesn’t mean, tho, that the electoral college cannot be improved. The adoption of the Wyoming Rule would make both the House of Representatives, and the electors more proportional to population, and the implementation of ranked choice voting for the electors, at least in the swing states, would better assure that the winner of the popular vote is more likely to be the winner of the electoral vote because the votes for third party and independent candidates would be transferred, and not “wasted” to “spoil” the election.
But, NO, the National Popular Vote Compact would NOT be an improvement to the electoral college for several reasons, most notably because it does not alleviate the basic problems of plurality voting; you could STILL get a minority winner under NPV (See Presidential election of 1992, NPV wouldn’t fix that). Also, NPV, would almost certainly be followed by demands for a national definition of voters, and almost certainly would magnify the problem of resolving close elections over a huge number of states, instead of just a handful now.

Congressional elections don’t NEED to be held on the same day, or by district, or using paper ballot. But it is USEFUL that there be uniformity among the States for elections to a single body.
Federal ID’s would help ensure that voter’s don’t vote twice and that there is no personation or other fraud. It would eliminate the need for voter registration. And voters would be more likely to update their address when they move. It could be used for conducting the Census, and providing better control over employment.
Paper ballots cast in person on election day can be readily counted following closing of the polls. If you have at most three paper ballots, they can be quickly completed at multiple voting stations consisting of a writing surface, a pen, and visual barriers (wood or cardboard or other thin, rigid, opaque materials). Limit capacity at polling places and there will be no lines.
Congress has plenty of authority to implement this for congressional elections. It is more a carrot approach for presidential elections. If you follow the congressional procedures you may appoint electors at the same time.
If a State doesn’t want to, they can choose a different date and procedure.

Circuit Judge Kevin Eisenheimer, a former Republican lawmaker, ordered the county Friday evening to “maintain, preserve and protect all records in its possession used to tabulate votes in Antrim County, to not turn on the Dominion tabulator in its possession and to not connect the Dominion tabulator in its possession to the internet.”
