Rasmussen Reports released a poll of the Texas gubernatorial race on July 24. It shows Republican Rick Perry 40%, independent Carole Strayhorn 20%, independent Kinky Friedman 19%, Democrat Chris Bell 13%. The poll did not ask respondents about the Libertarian nominee, James Warner.
Kinky is within striking distance and better positioned than Ventura at the same time back in 2000. These #s for Kinky are consitent with other polls, but others have Strayhorn and Bell swapped in positions.
Hmmmmm, sharper eyes than mine (ours)? I have not seen any thing recently (remembering that November’s ‘poll’ is the only one which truly counts!) with any one but the hapless Bell in fourth place.
I loooooooove Kinky, like Grandma, and I guess over half of potential ‘Tejas’ voters dislike Perry.
If Lone Star democrats truly HATE Perry (and are not just sleep walking through their pre assigned role in the establishment Douopoly’s ‘KKKabuki KKKarnival’) then Bell should with drawl and release loyalists (‘en generale’ –or specifically to Kinky or Grandma!)
