Libertarian District Attorney Dies Suddenly

On September 21, Norm Vroman, District Attorney of Mendocino County, California, died unexpectedly. He apparently suffered a fatal heart attack, and was either 69 or 70. He had been elected District Attorney in 1998 and re-elected in 2002, and was in a tight race for re-election this fall. He had been a registered Libertarian all that time, although all county offices in California are non-partisan. His name will remain on the November ballot.

Libertarian District Attorney Dies Suddenly — 3 Comments

  1. Libertarian Orange County Judge James Gray, Reform Party of California recommended on 2004 race for United States Senate might know. We are aware for sure that Gray and Norm Vroman, both GOP appointees whom switched to Libertarian labeling while in office. If local LP types [edwardtlp@sbcglobal.net] or my ‘black book’ of Jim Gray back room operatives, pans out, I will report back.
    If not……..

  2. Mail can be sent to the family of Norm Vroman, Hopland, CA 95449. The Post Office will (hopefully) but it in the right box.

A lot of us here have a lot to thank Norm for. What he did for us will not be forgotten.
