  1. Bloomberg?
    Obama?
    Giuliani?
For gods’ sake, what is the attraction?
The people who promote such candidates have no interest in or regard for philosophy, for ideas, for a belief system.
    No interest at all.
And even less interest in freedom.
Their lust is for power, for access to the throne.
Philadelphia Inquirer columnist Karen Heller recently wrote that Americans clamor for a real political discourse.
If there is even the slightest smidgen of truth to that, then why do the politicians, the old parties, the kingmakers continue to promote such philosophical non-entities?

  2. “…why do the politicians, the old parties, the kingmakers continue to promote such philosophical non-entities?” Give the people what they want…fluff.

  3. That’s why the next step is weaning people off the fluff. I try to do this by turning my friends on to the American Conservative and Liberty Unbound. Any other suggestions in the print world?

  4. I still find the Obama boom even odder. Bloomburg has least been mayor for six years. He also tells that some things are none of their business.

  6. Although I do not dislike Congress Member Obama

I sure do not see the attraction!

I do dislike Rudy Giuliani with a purple passion!

He is such an active fake, a la Schwartzen Faker!

Obama comes across as a passive fake.

Giuliani, Ahnold, and Obama, is there any there, there?

  7. Let’s see now: Bloomberg was a Democrat who was elected mayor as a Republican. He pushed a referendum to change NYC to nonpartisan elections and lost, 70% to 30%. And now he may run for president as an independent.

Since Bloomberg will drain votes mainly from the Democratic nominee… run, Mikey, run!
