  1. Finally, something GPVA, IGV, and VLP can all agree on.

I can’t believe my delegate, Chuck Caputo, voted for this! What a weird mix of conservatives and liberals who voted “yes.”

Is there a precedent for state courts to have determined that heavy ballot access filing fees are an unconstitutional burden?

  2. VICTORY!!!!

    Thank You Ballot Access News!!!

Great work by Libertarians, Constitutionalists, Independents, Greens – allies in the two larger parties.

And Thank You to our State Senators who showed good sense, and tolerance.

Special Thanks to State Senators Russ Potts, (our Indy Green Governor candidate in 2005), State Senator Lambert, State Senator Devolite-Davis. We honor your service and thank you continuing to show tolerance by allowing the poor, and middle class – who could not afford $3,000 to get on the ballot – to continue to get on the ballot.

    No Ballot Tax!

    Thank You Richard!

    Carey Campbell
State Chair, Independent Greens of Va
