  1. Re:The Unity 08 tagline “Taking Our Country Back” The American Party had “We Want Our Country Back” and it was also used by the Perot campaign in 1992.

  2. No, Unity08 does not have 42,000 delegates. Unity08 counts a number of individuals who have not signed on as delegates in that number. This is not the groundswell of delegate support that it is being portrayed as.

  3. Michael, don’t forget jerry brown’s “take america back.” slogan.

It seems that all that is required is an e-mail address and zip code so it is certain that many are, intentionally or unintentionally, signed up under multiple addresses. Many are folk that want to keep tabs on what they are up to but have no intention to support the ticket.

When a group defines itself by bipartisan unity (read avoiding controversial or difficult issues), claims the center between the two corporate parties, and shows its commitment to issues by listing crucial issues without taking a position on any, i see manipulation and more of the same old same old. No thanks.
