Libertarian Elected to City Council of Springfield, Missouri

On April 3, the voters of Springfield, Missouri held a city council election. A member of the Libertarian Party, Doug Burlison, won an at-large seat with 4,351 votes. His only opponent, incumbent Conrad Griggs, received 3,886. Thanks to Eric Dondero for this news.

  1. That “woman in Fullerton?” As a former Southern Californian I am shocked, just shocked, to hear such blatant geographism and sexism.

    Actually it just reminds me of some really great times I’ve had in Fullerton, but that’s another story!

  2. Congratulations to Doug Burlison. He did a great job on his campaign and I am pleased he won election.
